What POplanner does, screen by screen.
POplanner is a purchase planning app for wholesalers, distributors and importers. It reads the stock and sales export from your ERP and works out what to order from each supplier, how much, and by when. These are its own screens, filled with a made-up toy wholesaler.
Drop in the export you already make.
Drop an Excel or CSV file from your ERP on the Import screen. POplanner finds the columns by name in English, German or Dutch. If it can't place a column it asks once and remembers your answer next month.
- Needed: item number, available stock, monthly sales
- Used when present: customer orders, incoming orders, carton size, purchase price, supplier, lead time, catalog status
- Next month's file updates stock and adds the new month. Decisions and notes stay.
- Items with no stock, nothing on order and no sales in 12 months are left out
Item no.→Item numberBestand→Physical stockReserved→Customer ordersOn order→Incoming ordersKarton→Carton quantityOct 24 … Sep 26→24 months of salesHow long every item lasts, now and after the order.
Each item shows its sales trend, sales per month, months of stock today and months of stock once the order lands. You set two numbers: order when stock lasts less than your lead time plus a safety margin (2.5 months by default), and buy enough for the months you choose (5 by default).
- Order lines fill the gap to your target, in full cartons
- Stock already on order is counted
- Items with more than enough are marked before you add to them
| Status | Item | Months of stock | Order |

Open any line and the sum is written out.
Average monthly sales and the months that fed it, how long the order has to last, stock and incoming orders already counted, and the carton rounding. A chart shows 24 months of sales. Change the quantity with the stepper and the line keeps your number.
- A confidence score from 0 to 100 on every suggestion, with reasons on hover
- Score rises with months of data, steady sales and recent sales
The lines an experienced buyer would question.
A spreadsheet repeats whatever the sales history says. POplanner flags one-off spikes, stock-out months, one-customer items, purchase prices that look wrong, carton effects, new items, long cover and out-of-catalog items that still sell. Each gets a card with a safe quantity, and export warns you about any you haven't checked.
Most of the window's sales came in a single month, such as a seasonal or project order. Check before buying on that average.

Seasonal stock on the shelf in time, by sea or by air.
POplanner knows 14 European selling seasons: Sinterklaas, Christmas, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Carnival, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, King's Day, Pride, festival season, Oktoberfest, Halloween and Black Friday. It counts back from the shelf date and shows when each order has to leave.
- Sea (12 weeks) and air (4 weeks) by default, your own weeks per supplier
- When the sea date has passed, the air date takes over
- A quiet "possibly seasonal" tag from a keyword list you can edit
One file per supplier, most urgent lines first.
The Orders screen groups the plan by supplier and sorts each order by what has to make the next shipment: low stock and best earners at the top. If the container fills up, whatever stays behind can wait.
- Excel export per supplier, in full cartons, with units and value
- Every line keeps its reason
- The PO tracker records what you ordered and what is still on the way
Sell more to the shops you already supply.
Add your order lines and every customer gets a page: what they buy, how that compares with last year, how often they order, and the bestsellers they don't stock yet. Your sales team gets a list of reasons to call.

Your rules, in plain numbers.
Lead time, safety margin, cover target and carton rounding are settings, per supplier where it matters. Move the sliders: these are the same rules you set in the app. In the app you see what a change does to the order before you keep it, and you can undo it.

Your company's name on every screen and export.
Your team signs in with a six-digit code sent by email, so there are no passwords to forget, and each person chooses how long to stay signed in, up to 30 days. Each person's plan, decisions and PO tracker are saved to their account.
Your figures stay yours.
